OrgoniteApp is operated by Torus & Tensor Co. (ABN registered, Australia). We build tools for the orgonite gifting community. Our website is orgoniteapp.com.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you sign in via OAuth (Google/Manus).
• Location data: Approximate GPS coordinates when you log an orgonite placement. We deliberately fuzz (randomise by 50–200 metres) all placement coordinates before storing or displaying them to protect your privacy.
• Placement content: Photos and notes you voluntarily submit with a placement.
• Marketplace data: Listing details, messages, and payment references (Stripe) if you use the marketplace.
• Usage data: Anonymous analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To display community orgonite placements on the map (anonymised).
• To enable you to log in, manage your placements, and use the marketplace.
• To process payments securely via Stripe (we never store card details).
• To send you notifications you have opted into.
• To improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns.

4. Location Privacy

We take location privacy seriously. Your exact GPS coordinates are never shown publicly. All placement pins on the map are offset by a random 50–200 metre radius before display. Your precise coordinates are only visible to you on your own placement detail page.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe: For payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Google Maps: Map tiles and geocoding. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• OpenCelliD: Cell tower data lookups. No personal data is shared.
• Cloud infrastructure: Hosting and storage providers under data processing agreements.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and placements for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Anonymised aggregate data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).

8. Children's Privacy

OrgoniteApp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

We use session cookies for authentication and localStorage to remember your onboarding preferences and app settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, signed JWTs for sessions, and access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
